Inter Milan have reached an agreement with Liverpool to sign midfielder Curtis Jones in a deal worth up to €35 million, according to multiple reports on Wednesday.
The Italian champions will pay €30 million in fixed fees plus €5 million in performance-related bonuses for the 25-year-old Englishman, who is entering the final year of his contract at Anfield. Jones is expected to travel to Milan in the coming days to undergo a medical and complete the move.
Jones, who came through Liverpool's academy and made his first-team debut at 17, spent 16 years at the club. He made over 150 appearances across all competitions, winning the Premier League and Champions League during his time on Merseyside. However, with his contract winding down and Liverpool having rejected an earlier offer of €25 million in June, the two clubs have now settled on terms.
