The International Tennis Federation (ITF) has officially changed its name to "World Tennis". The change, ratified by members at last October's general assembly, took effect on June 25, 2026; president David Haggerty and CEO Ross Hutchins made the announcement, joining other international bodies (World Athletics, World Aquatics, World Rugby).
The rebrand aims to make the governing body more recognizable globally and align with the language of other Olympic sports.
