Ivan Perisic wants Inter return four years after leaving San Siro

Ivan Perisic is reportedly pushing for a return to Inter Milan this summer, four years after his departure from the club, with the Croatian wingback hoping PSV Eindhoven will grant him an exit.

The 37-year-old proved during Croatia's run at the 2026 World Cup that he still has plenty to offer at the highest level and is eager for one last challenge in Serie A. According to Tuttosport and Calciomercato, Perisic is hoping for a Nerazzurri comeback.

Perisic's first spell at Inter ran from 2015 to 2019 before a loan at Bayern Munich, followed by a return to San Siro and then a free transfer to Tottenham Hotspur in July 2022. After stints at Hajduk Split and PSV Eindhoven (where he arrived in 2024), his current contract expires at the end of this season.

Inter had already made an approach to bring him back in January 2026, only to be rebuffed by PSV Eindhoven. Now the Dutch side may be more open to a deal, with Perisic eager to force the move.

If he returns, Perisic would serve as understudy to Federico Dimarco on the left flank, but crucially can also operate on the right — a position where Inter have struggled to replace Denzel Dumfries. In 254 competitive appearances for the Serie A side, he scored 55 goals and provided 50 assists.
