Como and Fiorentina are finalizing the details of a €40m transfer for Italy striker Moise Kean, with the two clubs now working through the bonus structure of a deal that would see the 26-year-old move to Lombardy ahead of Como's first-ever Champions League campaign.
Como's latest proposal is worth €35m guaranteed plus €5m in add-ons. The overall fee is no longer the main sticking point — negotiations have shifted to how those bonuses would be structured and triggered. The transfer saga took a turbulent turn on Wednesday when Kean did not report for Fiorentina's scheduled morning training session in what appeared to be an attempt to force through the move. The Viola responded by fining the striker and ordering him to return for an individual session that afternoon. Kean resumed normal training on Thursday, lowering the temperature around the situation without altering the direction of negotiations.
Cesc Fabregas has identified Kean as the primary target to strengthen Como's attack for their debut in European football's elite competition. The Spaniard's side refused to abandon their pursuit after earlier proposals were rejected, and the club are now increasingly optimistic that the Italy international can be added to an ambitious squad.
