Madrid honored Marc Marquez and his brother Alex with the prestigious "Siete Estrellas del Deporte" (Seven Stars of Sport) individual athlete award. The MotoGP icons were recognized alongside other prominent Spanish athletes.
Marc Marquez, eight-time world champion, received the accolade for his exceptional motorsports career, filled with world titles and memorable achievements. Alex Marquez, Moto3 (2014) and Moto2 (2019) world champion, currently a Ducati rider with team Gresini, was recognized for his sporting successes.
"It's an honor to receive this award together with my brother," Marc said. "Madrid is our home and receiving this recognition here is very special." Alex added: "Sharing this moment with Marc and all the athletes being honored is a unique emotion."
