The Dallas Mavericks have matched the New York Knicks' offer sheet and re-signed restricted free agent center Moussa Cisse, the franchise announced Wednesday.
The team did not disclose terms, but multiple reports indicate the Mavericks matched the Knicks' offer for a two-year, $4.7 million contract.
Cisse, 21, went undrafted out of Memphis in 2025 and spent his rookie season with Dallas on a two-way contract. The 6-foot-11 center provides frontcourt depth behind Dereck Lively II and Daniel Gafford.
In the 2025-26 season, Cisse tied Roy Tarpley's Dallas rookie record of 20 rebounds in a game during the regular-season finale against Chicago. He averaged 4.5 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.2 blocks and 13.9 minutes in 38 games (one start), ranking third among all rookies in blocks per game.
The former Memphis Tiger showed solid potential as a defensive big and rebounder in his first season, convincing Dallas to invest by matching New York's offer sheet after the Knicks attempted to pry him away in restricted free agency.
