Japan's Tokito Oda beat Britain's Alfie Hewett 6-1, 6-1 in the men's wheelchair singles final at Wimbledon 2026, claiming his third title on the lawns of London. The world No. 1 and defending champion, the 20-year-old Oda dominated Sunday's match on Court One.
The win is Oda's sixth consecutive Grand Slam singles title: the Japanese has not lost a major since 2025, when Hewett beat him in the Australian Open final. Hewett, 28, had won a record-extending seventh Wimbledon wheelchair doubles title alongside Gordon Reid on Saturday, but for the second year running he was beaten by Oda in the singles final at SW19.
With the result Oda draws level with Hewett on 10 Grand Slam singles titles, second on the all-time list behind Shingo Kunieda's 28. The pair have been the dominant forces in men's wheelchair singles in recent years, sharing all 14 Grand Slam singles titles contested since the start of 2023 — 10 for Oda, four for Hewett.
