Udinese have officially signed Kosovo international defender Mergim Vojvoda from Como for a fee of €1.6m including add-ons, as reported by [Football Italia](https://football-italia.net/official-udinese-buy-vojvoda-from-como-e1-6m/). The 31-year-old has put pen to paper on a contract running to June 2028, with an option for an additional season.
The agreement was reached between the two clubs in recent days and formalised over the weekend. The base fee is €1.3m, with a further €300,000 in performance-related bonuses. Vojvoda had joined Como in February 2025 for €2m, after playing for Torino since 2020, when he arrived from Standard Liege.
He made 45 competitive appearances for Como, scoring three goals and providing five assists, helping the Lombard side secure Champions League qualification. A versatile defender, he can play as a right-back, an advanced midfield role, or as a central defender when required. His experience and tactical flexibility represent a valuable addition to the Bianconeri's defence and midfield.
