Paris Basketball have officially announced the signing of Alizé Johnson, with the American forward/center joining the club to strengthen its frontcourt for the upcoming season.
Johnson arrives with considerable pedigree, having played more than 60 games in the NBA across several franchises. He brings athleticism, energy and rebounding, along with consistent production around the rim — the qualities Paris will lean on as the team builds its roster for the new campaign.
Last season, Johnson split time between China and the NBA G League. With Shenzhen in the Chinese league he averaged 12.0 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 24 games. He then moved to the Iowa Wolves in the G League, where his numbers jumped to 19.0 points, 11.1 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game, underlining the all-round production he can offer at European level. His combination of size and mobility gives Paris a different dimension in the paint, whether deployed as a starter or coming off the bench.
