Igor Volley Novara has officially signed US middle blocker Phoebe Awoleye for the 2026-27 season. The Piedmont club completed the move after Julia Kudiess's serious injury, which required reinforcement in the middle blocker department.
Awoleye, born in 2002, stands 188 cm tall and arrives from the Atlanta Vibe (League One Volleyball) following a stint in Portugal. The American player signs a one-year contract with Novara.
"I'm excited to start this new adventure in Italy," said Awoleye. "Novara is a prestigious club with great tradition and I can't wait to make myself available to the team."
