Lega Pro has officially announced the composition of the three Serie C groups for the 2026-27 season. The main novelty is Inter Under 23 being placed in southern Group C alongside Bari, Salernitana, Catania and seven teams from Apulia.
Juventus Under 23 has been placed in Group A, while Atalanta Under 23 will compete in Group B. The group composition confirms Lega Pro's aim to geographically balance the three divisions, also considering the Under 23 teams of major clubs.
Group C looks particularly competitive, with passionate fan bases like Bari, Salernitana and Catania all fighting for promotion to Serie B. The southern group features seven teams from Apulia, showcasing the vitality of football in that region.
