The US Open 2026 draw is taking shape: ten Italian tennis players appear in the tournament's entry list, which will be played at Flushing Meadows from August 30 to September 13. This strong showing confirms the robustness of Italian tennis on the ATP circuit and the excellent collective momentum that Italian tennis has enjoyed in recent years.
Leading the way is Jannik Sinner, the defending champion and top seed, ready to defend the title he claimed last year. Joining him are Lorenzo Musetti and Matteo Arnaldi, players who in recent years have reached career-best results and became key figures for the Italian team in Davis Cup as well. Luciano Darderi, an emerging Italian talent, is also on the list.
Beyond the aforementioned players, six additional Italian athletes have secured direct main-draw entry or qualified for the tournament, bringing the Italian contingent to ten players. Such a large presence underscores the depth of Italian tennis at the highest level.
