The WTA has officially announced that the 2026 WTA Finals will be staged at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in California from 8 to 15 November. The decision brings an early end to the agreement with Saudi Arabia, under which the event had been scheduled for Riyadh, shifting the season finale back to a familiar American setting with deep roots in the women's game.
The season-ending championships will feature the world's top eight singles players and the leading doubles teams. The return to a U.S. venue, after the Saudi spell, restores a historic and familiar setting for the women's game and its American fanbase, with a calendar slot that suits the autumn swing and the broadcast windows that matter most to sponsors.
The WTA confirmed the move in a press release on 1 July 2026. The choice of Indian Wells favours one of the most celebrated venues in the sport, offering strong broadcast visibility and ideal autumn playing conditions that have long made it a favourite among players and a reliable draw for crowds.
