Caitlin Clark orchestrated the historic offensive display, finishing with 27 points and 11 assists while knocking down five 3-pointers. The Fever star set the tone early, scoring 11 points on a perfect 4-of-4 shooting — including three 3-pointers — in the opening 4½ minutes as Indiana jumped out to a 17-11 lead.
Kelsey Mitchell continued her scorching run with 23 points, hitting three from beyond the arc. It marked Mitchell's 10th consecutive game with at least 20 points and three 3-pointers, an extraordinary stretch that has powered the Fever offense.
Aliyah Boston contributed 22 points, while Monique Billings (12) and Tyasha Harris (12) also reached double figures for Indiana (17-10), which heads into the All-Star break riding a three-game winning streak.
The Fever shot 62 percent from the field and connected on 11 of 22 3-point attempts. They built a commanding 70-46 halftime lead — the largest halftime margin in franchise history.
Diamond Miller led the Sun (7-20) with 15 points, while Saniya Rivers added 13 and Olivia Nelson-Ododa scored 11. Connecticut played without Aaliyah Edwards and Brittney Griner.
Clark and Rivers were involved in a verbal exchange late in the third quarter, resulting in technical fouls for both players. The technical was Clark's seventh this season; one more would trigger an automatic one-game suspension with 17 games remaining on Indiana's schedule.
