SEATTLE — Caitlin Clark poured in 32 points, Kelsey Mitchell added 28, and the Indiana Fever won their fourth consecutive game by defeating the Seattle Storm 105-95 at Climate Pledge Arena on Tuesday night.
Clark was efficient from the floor, shooting 9-of-14 including four 3-pointers, and perfect from the free-throw line (10-of-10) while adding seven assists. It marked the ninth time this season she has posted a 30-point, five-assist game — a feat that has been achieved only eight other times in franchise history.
Mitchell extended her franchise-record streak to 12 straight games with 20 or more points, tied for the third-longest such run in WNBA history. She scored 28 on 11-of-19 shooting.
The Fever (18-10) overcame the loss of forward Aliyah Boston, who left the game in the second quarter with a lower-leg injury after scoring 11 points. Boston was not immediately ruled out for future games.
Monique Billings recorded a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds, and Sophie Cunningham added 11 points. Indiana shot a remarkable 26-of-26 from the free-throw line, falling just one make short of the league record for most free throws without a miss.
Natisha Hiedeman was the standout for Seattle (6-24), scoring a career-high 33 points while knocking down six 3-pointers. But the Storm dropped their seventh straight game.
Indiana set the tone early, jumping to a 37-20 lead after the first quarter and carrying a 58-47 advantage into halftime. Seattle mounted a third-quarter push, with Awa Fam hitting a 3-pointer to cut the deficit to 65-63. But Clark responded by scoring 16 of Indiana's next 18 points, sending the Fever into the fourth quarter up 76-72.
Mitchell then opened the final period with back-to-back 3-pointers to push the lead to 85-76, and Indiana never looked back.
The Fever head to Portland to face the Fire on Friday, while Seattle travels to Atlanta to take on the Dream.
