Hapoel Tel Aviv has officially announced a contract extension for Elijah Bryant: the American guard will stay with the Israeli club through the end of the 2028/29 season. The announcement came on Saturday, July 11, 2026 via the club's official channels.
Bryant, who joined Tel Aviv in the summer of 2025, was one of the standout performers in Hapoel's historic debut EuroLeague campaign, helping the team reach the playoffs. In his first season he averaged 15.9 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.4 assists across 38 appearances, earning a place in the All-EuroLeague First Team.
The management wanted to lock down a key piece of the project led by head coach Dimitris Itoudis. "We are very happy that Elijah continues with us and we cannot wait to have him back on the court," the Greek coach said. The player, for his part, said he was "excited to keep wearing red."
