Gennaro Gattuso, Lazio's new coach, ordered Dutch midfielder Kenneth Taylor to leave the training ground at Formello after a heated argument. Taylor had stopped to complain about a tackle and reacted verbally to the coach, who told him to leave, shouting "Get out!"
Training continued normally without Taylor. According to reports from Radio Laziale and Il Messaggero, Lazio are not expected to impose severe sanctions and the player will participate in the afternoon session. A meeting between coach and player is scheduled to resolve the situation.
Gattuso, known for his fiery character as a player, has shown he intends to impose discipline and respect for the rules from day one within the Biancocelesti group. The Calabrian coach's reaction was firm but appears to fall within normal team management.
