Juventus confirmed a double departure on Monday 3 August 2026, announcing that Vasilije Adžić and João Mário have both left Turin on temporary deals before the Serie A summer window closes.
Adžić becomes the latest young talent to head out in search of regular football, joining Sassuolo on loan until 30 June 2027. The Montenegrin midfielder, a 2006-born product of Budućnost Podgorica, arrived at Juventus in July 2024 and went on to make 26 first-team appearances in black and white. His most memorable moment came last September, when he scored a stoppage-time winner against Inter at the Allianz Stadium. He also registered 10 appearances and four goals for the club's Next Gen side and has been capped six times by Montenegro's senior national team, finding the net on a couple of occasions.
João Mário, meanwhile, moves to Fiorentina after spending the second half of last season on loan at Bologna. The 26-year-old Portugal international joined Juventus from Porto last summer and made 13 appearances across Serie A and the Champions League before adding 10 league outings and one goal with the Rossoblu. According to Portuguese reports, the Viola have secured a non-mandatory purchase option set at €9m, while the full-back's contract with Juventus runs until 2030. In Florence he will compete with Dodô for the right side of Fabio Grosso's defence.
