Anadolu Efes have confirmed the signing of EuroLeague star guard Mike James on a 1+1 contract, the club announced. The 35-year-old American, who last played for Monaco, moves to Istanbul to replace Shane Larkin.
James arrives as the all-time leading scorer in EuroLeague history, a credential that makes him one of the most decorated guards on the European market. His move to the Turkish powerhouse comes after a stellar spell in Monaco, where he established himself as a consistent match-winner at the highest level of the competition.
The 1+1 structure gives Efes flexibility while securing the services of a proven playmaker for the 2026-27 campaign. James is expected to slot straight into the backcourt vacated by Larkin and lead the team's offense in both the Turkish Basketbol Süper Ligi and the EuroLeague.
