Napheesa Collier Probable for Lynx Return in First Action Since 2025 Playoffs

Napheesa Collier has been listed as probable for Minnesota's game at Seattle on Wednesday, which would mark her first action since suffering a left ankle injury in last year's WNBA playoffs.

The return of Collier, a four-time All-WNBA selection and five-time All-Star, is a major boost for a Lynx team that has more than coped without her. Minnesota boasts a league-best 21-6 record with a six-game winning streak, led by All-Star rookie Olivia Miles.

Collier finished second in MVP voting behind Las Vegas' A'ja Wilson for the second straight season in 2025. She averaged 22.9 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.5 blocks, becoming only the second player in league history to shoot at least 50% from the field, 40% from three-point range and 90% from the free-throw line in a single season.

A right ankle injury in August 2025 forced her to miss three weeks. She later tore three ligaments in her left ankle during Game 3 of the WNBA semifinals against Phoenix. Collier underwent surgery on both ankles during the offseason.

In April, she signed a one-year, $1.4 million supermax contract with the Lynx.
