Udinese have completed the signing of Mergim Vojvoda from Como in a deal worth €1.6 million including performance-related bonuses. The 31-year-old Kosovo international has put pen to paper on a contract tying him to the Friuli club until June 2028, with an option for an additional season.
The fee is structured as €1.3 million upfront plus a further €300,000 in add-ons linked to individual and team targets. An agreement between the two Serie A sides had been reached in recent days and was finalised over the weekend, as confirmed by Football Italia. It represents shrewd business for Udinese, who land an experienced Serie A performer at a modest price.
Vojvoda is a familiar figure in Italian football. Having joined Torino from Belgian side Standard Liege in the summer of 2020, the defender proved himself in Serie A over several seasons before making the move to Como in February 2025 for a reported €2 million. During his time at the Lariano club he made 45 competitive appearances, scoring three goals and providing five assists, playing a key role in Como's historic qualification for the Champions League.
