The 2026 Tour de France presents Sunday's stage 15, Champagnole-Plateau de Solaison, 183.9 km with 3,950 meters of elevation gain, one of the toughest days of this edition. A mountain-top finish in the French Alps with four categorized climbs.
Tadej Pogačar leads the general classification with 4'30" over Jonas Vingegaard and 5'04" over Remco Evenepoel. The Slovenian phenomenon, already with four stage wins this edition, seeks a fifth. The stage finishes with the never-before-used Plateau de Solaison (11.3 km at 9%, max 11.3%), previously only climbed in the Dauphiné where Fuglsang in 2017, Vingegaard in 2022, and Del Toro in 2026 all won and went on to win the race overall.
Before the final climb, four categorized ascents: Cote des Rousses (3rd cat., 6.6 km at 5.1%), Le Saleve-Col de la Croisette (1st cat., 4.7 km at 11.2%), Cote du Mont (3rd cat., 2.1 km at 8.3%). Monday is the second rest day, with the time trial resuming on Tuesday.
