Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates XRG) won Stage 10 of the 2026 Tour de France, a mountainous 166.6 km route from Aurillac to Le Lioran in the Massif Central, raced on July 14 — Bastille Day. The victory marks his third stage win in this edition and his 24th career Tour stage victory.
Pogacar launched his decisive attack on the penultimate climb of the day, the Col de Pertus (1st category), about 14 km from the finish, dropping all his rivals. He crossed the line with a 32-second gap over Remco Evenepoel (Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe), while young French rider Paul Seixas (Decathlon CMA CGM) completed the stage podium.
The race was animated from the early kilometers, with numerous attackers. Richard Carapaz (EF Education-EasyPost) was the last to be caught, reeled in on the Col de Pertus just as Pogacar ignited his trademark surge. The Slovenian champion kept pushing on the final climb, Col de Font de Cère, extending his lead to the finish line.
