Red Bull extends KTM MotoGP title sponsorship for 2027 850cc era

KTM's partnership with Red Bull will run on into MotoGP's new era, with the energy-drinks brand confirmed as title sponsor of KTM Factory Racing for the 2027 season and beyond.

The deal was announced during the German Grand Prix weekend at the Sachsenring, just days after KTM confirmed Alex Marquez and Fabio Di Giannantonio as its factory riders for 2027. The two Austrian companies have signed a new multi-year contract, which means Red Bull will remain the only title sponsor in the premier class when the championship switches to 850cc machinery next season.

The relationship dates back to the launch of KTM's MotoGP project in 2017 and now spans more than a quarter of a century across a wide range of motorsport disciplines. Alongside the factory team, the agreement covers the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup and the KTM GP Academy, which nurtures riders through every grand prix class.

On track, Red Bull KTM Factory Racing has recorded seven wins and 38 podium finishes since entering the premier class, 26 of them in sprint races.

"Red Bull and KTM simply belong together," said Pit Beirer, KTM Motorsport Director. "It has been a fantastic partnership for such a long time, one that goes far beyond the colours of the motorbikes. Red Bull supports us in many ways, both on the racetrack and behind the scenes."

The extension keeps KTM as the only manufacturer on the 2027 grid with Red Bull as its title sponsor, and the Austrian pair have made clear the ultimate goal remains unchanged: a first premier-class title.
