Valentino Rossi, Francesco Bagnaia and other MotoGP riders took part in the CIV (Italian National Championship) race at Misano last weekend. The premier class stars competed at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli alongside national championship riders.
Rossi, who ended his MotoGP career in 2021 but continues to race in selected events, once again showed his passion for two wheels. According to Speedweek, Rossi started from pole position but was involved in a first-corner crash.
Bagnaia, the reigning vice-world champion, demonstrated his value in this national setting as well, confirming the exceptional preparation level of MotoGP riders even when racing outside the world championship context.
