Guglielmo Vicario has arrived in Turin and passed his medical examinations at J Medical, clearing the way for his move from Tottenham Hotspur to Juventus. Juventus and Tottenham have reached an agreement on a loan deal that includes an option to buy, set at approximately €10 million. The structure gives the Italian club the chance to evaluate Vicario over the course of the season before committing to a permanent transfer. The deal marks a significant shift in Tottenham's goalkeeping plans, with the London side having explored alternatives including Aston Villa's Emiliano Martinez before settling on the Vicario route.
Vicario joined Tottenham from Empoli in the summer of 2023 and quickly established himself as the first-choice goalkeeper in north London.
