Yam Madar has officially signed with Maccabi Tel Aviv, the Israeli champions announced on Sunday. The 25-year-old point guard has agreed a three-year contract and becomes one of the marquee additions of the club's 2026-27 roster.
Madar leaves cross-town rivals Hapoel Tel Aviv, where he established himself as one of the most talented playmakers of his generation. Maccabi described the move as the beginning of a "wonderful relationship" with a player who joins the anchor of Israeli basketball.
Club chairman Shimon Mizrahi welcomed Madar "with waves of love and joy," calling him another Israeli player who strengthens the core of Maccabi Tel Aviv ahead of the new EuroLeague season.
