L'argentino Facundo Bagnis, 36 anni e ex numero 55 del mondo, ha accettato una squalifica di 12 mesi per violazione delle regole anti-doping. Il giocatore era risultato positivo all'idroclorotiazide, un diuretico e agente mascherante, durante le qualificazioni agli US Open del 2025.
La ITIA ha ritenuto la violazione non intenzionale: Bagnis ha dimostrato che la sostanza proveniva da un integratore contaminato, presentando registrazioni e documentazione a supporto. Il tennista aveva nel frattempo scelto una sospensione provvisoria volontaria dal 18 ottobre 2025, in attesa dello sviluppo dell'indagine.
