Il Milan ha iniziato la serie di amichevoli estive con una netta vittoria per 7-0 contro il Milan Futuro, in un test in famiglia disputato al centro sportivo di Milanello. Dall'altra parte c'era la seconda squadra rossonera guidata da Daniele Navarro, ma il risultato conta meno delle indicazioni emerse per il nuovo corso affidato a Ruben Amorim.
Già nel primo tempo, chiuso sul 2-0, si sono visti i primi segnali positivi. In evidenza il neoacquisto Andrej Kostic, centravanti montenegrino acquistato in ottica Futuro ma già pronto a candidarsi per la prima squadra. L'attaccante ha confermato le ottime impressioni lasciate nei primi allenamenti, trovando anche la via del gol. A segno anche Ossola, trequartista 19enne cresciuto nel vivaio rossonero, lo scorso anno diviso tra seconda squadra e Primavera.
Nella ripresa, con Navarro che ha ulteriormente ringiovanito i ranghi inserendo i 2008 e 2009, sono arrivati altri cinque gol. Le firme: Chukwueze, Pavlovic, Camarda, Loftus-Cheek e Fofana. Da segnalare la rete di Francesco Camarda, un altro segnale importante per le valutazioni di Amorim e della dirigenza. Il giovane attaccante classe 2008 continua a dimostrare di poter essere una risorsa già per la prima squadra.
Significativa la sperimentazione tattica di Amorim: Samuel Chukwueze è stato impiegato come esterno destro nel 3-4-2-1, proseguendo il lavoro già iniziato nelle esercitazioni dei giorni scorsi. Il tecnico portoghese sta progressivamente plasmando la squadra secondo le sue idee, con un modulo che punta sulla flessibilità degli esterni.
Il prossimo impegno del Diavolo è in programma sabato prossimo in casa del Celtic. Il giorno dopo la squadra partirà per la tournée negli Stati Uniti.

Tactically, Amorim used the fixture to experiment with his preferred 3-4-2-1 formation. Chukwueze was deployed as a right wing-back, continuing a positional trial that began in training earlier in the week. The Portuguese coach is gradually imprinting his system on the squad, with an emphasis on wing-back flexibility and attacking transitions.
