Celtic FC Women have officially announced the signing of young defender Abi Tobin. The 19-year-old joins the club after most recently playing her football in the SWPL with Aberdeen last season.
A lifelong Celtic fan, Tobin has previous experience with the club, having spent time in the Academy during the early stages of her career. Despite her age, the teenager arrives with plenty of senior experience, having spent time on loan at Hamilton Accies in 2024/25. During that campaign, she was named Young Player of the Year as Hamilton achieved promotion to the top flight.
Her move to Aberdeen saw her become a regular in the side last campaign. Tobin has also picked up international caps at youth level with Scotland, most recently scoring for her country at Under-19 level in April.
