AC Milan tie Francesco Camarda to new long-term contract until 2031

AC Milan have officially extended the contract of teenage striker Francesco Camarda until 30 June 2031, with a one-year club option, the Rossoneri confirmed on Thursday.

The 17-year-old, who joined Milan's youth academy at the age of seven, has been prolific throughout his development, scoring 485 goals in just 89 matches across the youth age groups. He made history as the youngest-ever player to appear in Serie A, replacing Luka Jovic in the 83rd minute of a 1-0 win over Fiorentina at 15 years and 260 days old.

Camarda made 12 Serie A appearances for Milan before being sent on loan to Lecce for the 2025-26 season to continue his development. He played 23 matches, scoring once and assisting another, before Lecce activated their option to buy. Milan then exercised their buy-back clause just two days later.

"AC Milan is delighted to announce the renewal of Francesco Camarda's contract until 30 June 2031, plus a one year club option," read a statement on the club website. "A product of the Rossoneri youth academy, which he joined at the age of 7, Francesco completed his development with the Primavera and Milan Futuro sides, before making his First Team debut. Last season, on loan at Lecce, he played in Serie A, making 23 appearances, scoring 1 goal and providing 1 assist, before returning to AC Milan. AC Milan and Francesco Camarda will continue their journey together, with the ambition to grow and reach new milestones."
