All Blacks coach Dave Rennie has named three debutants for the South Africa tour: Hurricanes prop Siale Lauaki, Moana Pasifika flanker Semisi Tupou Ta'eiloa, and Chiefs fly-half Josh Jacomb.
The tour includes 8 matches in South Africa (4 against club sides and 2 Test matches) plus a Test in Baltimore. South Africa is ranked No. 1 in the world, New Zealand No. 2. The tour marks a return to traditional touring format with weekend and midweek fixtures.
