Frosinone have completed the signing of Moroccan-Dutch midfielder Anouar El Azzouzi on a free transfer, the player having run down his contract with Fortuna Dusseldorf.
The 25-year-old arrived in the Ciociaria on Monday 13 July 2026 for his medical and has put pen to paper on a contract running to June 2029. El Azzouzi, brother of Bologna defender Oussama El Azzouzi, made 31 appearances for the German side in his last campaign, scoring once.
A central midfielder by trade, he becomes the latest addition to a Frosinone squad preparing for the new season under head coach Massimiliano Alvini, with the group's pre-season retreat getting under way on the same evening. The move strengthens the giallazzurri's options in the middle of the park at no transfer fee.
