Jude Bellingham scored twice, including a 93rd-minute winner, as England came from behind to beat Norway 2-1 after extra time and reach the semi-finals of the 2026 World Cup.
Norway took a first-half lead through Andreas Schjelderup's cross-cum-shot that crept in off the far post, but Bellingham levelled with a brilliant finish on the stroke of half-time. Norway were the better side for long stretches of normal time, yet it was Bellingham who pounced at the start of extra time, converting after goalkeeper Orjan Haskjold Nyland spilled Morgan Rogers' effort.
The victory moves Bellingham on to six goals at the tournament, putting him firmly in the frame for the Golden Boot, and sets up a last-four meeting with Argentina on Wednesday in Atlanta. Thomas Tuchel's side nullified Erling Haaland, who was withdrawn after the first period of extra time, and survived a stern test in 33C heat and 65% humidity at kick-off.
