Cesc Fabregas's Como have submitted a €30 million bid to Chelsea for England international Trevoh Chalobah, but the Premier League side have turned down the offer.
According to reports from multiple outlets on Saturday, including Fabrizio Romano, Como offered a guaranteed €25 million plus €5 million in easily-achievable bonuses to take the deal to the €30m mark. Chelsea have informed Como that they will need to raise their bid beyond €30 million if they are to reach an agreement.
Chalobah, a Chelsea academy graduate, is still keen on the move and remains likely to leave Stamford Bridge during this summer transfer window.
