Paolo Falabella and Elio Tommasino have been confirmed as part of Daniele Morato's coaching staff for the 2026-27 SuperLega season, with Cisterna Volley keeping the backroom team that worked alongside the head coach last season together for another campaign. The league announced both renewals in late July.
Falabella, who serves as Morato's assistant coach, will begin his second season at the club — as will Morato himself — while Tommasino remains a familiar presence around Cisterna, having worked with the organisation for several years. All three will again form the technical staff as the club builds towards a season in which survival is the priority, but with the clear aim of improving on last season's finish and avoiding the relegation playout.
"First things first: it is a pleasure to work at Cisterna," Falabella said. "The club gives us everything we need in terms of facilities and organisation, and lets us work in total comfort. I think the roster we have put together for the new SuperLega — we are still waiting on the final piece, a middle blocker — is great fun. We added height and explosive power to a solid base, and we have players who want to make a name for themselves, others who want a fresh start and others who want another year at a high level."
