Dusan Vlahovic has joined Besiktas on a three-year contract, the Turkish club announced on Thursday, with the Serbia striker finally ending his free-agent status after his Juventus deal expired at the end of June.
Besiktas confirmed the agreement in a statement filed with Turkey's Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), saying the contract runs from the 2026-27 season through the end of the 2028-29 campaign. The 26-year-old will earn a guaranteed €7.5m per season, with performance-related bonuses expected to push his overall package towards €10m a year.
The move reunites Vlahovic with Vincenzo Italiano, the coach who signed him at Fiorentina and now manages Besiktas. The former Juventus number nine had been linked with Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, Napoli and Milan throughout the summer, but with no move materialising he accepted the Istanbul club's proposal. Italiano's side are preparing for a Süper Lig campaign that kicks off with a star-studded title race, and the Serbian's arrival gives them a proven top-level finisher at the peak of his career.
