Wales fly-half Gareth Anscombe has signed for Scarlets for the 2026-27 United Rugby Championship season. The 35-year-old returns to Welsh rugby after his stint in France with Bayonne.
Anscombe, who has 40 caps for Wales, has previously played for Cardiff and Ospreys, establishing himself as one of the most experienced and respected number 10s on the British scene. His career has seen him star in both Super Rugby with the New Zealand Chiefs and European rugby.
"I'm thrilled to return to Wales and join the Scarlets," Anscombe said. "It's a club with great tradition and I can't wait to contribute to the project." His arrival will bring experience and leadership to a squad aiming to compete at the highest levels in the URC.
