The Chicago Bulls claimed their first victory of the 2026 NBA Summer League on Tuesday, pulling away for a 99-87 win over the Washington Wizards at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.
Chicago capitalized on a depleted Washington lineup. Washington was without No. 1 overall pick AJ Dybantsa, shut down for the remainder of the Summer League, while second-year guards Will Riley and Tre Johnson also sat out. The Bulls built a 66-59 lead by the end of the third quarter thanks to a deep buzzer-beating three from No. 4 overall pick Caleb Wilson, then pulled away in a decisive fourth quarter.
Wilson finished with 19 points, eight rebounds, two assists and a block. Jaylin Sellers led all scorers with 24 points on 5-of-6 from three-point range, while Donovan Atwell added 19. Chris Livingston paced the short-handed Wizards with 21 points and four rebounds; Seth Trimble contributed 13 and Felix Okpara 12.
