Southampton have completed the signing of attacker Lewis Dobbin from Aston Villa for a fee of almost £9m, the deal officially announced on Wednesday, July 15. He is the fifth new addition made by the Saints this summer.

The 23-year-old winger joined Aston Villa from Everton in June 2024 but never made a senior appearance in claret and blue. The Championship club intends to develop him in an attacking role following his spell at Villa.
