Cagliari have officially completed the signing of Harry Winks. The English midfielder, born in 1996 and a product of the Tottenham Hotspur academy, joins the Sardinian club permanently from Leicester City and has put pen to paper on a deal running until 30 June 2028.
Winks, who already spent a season in Italy with Sampdoria in 2022-23, arrived in Cagliari after becoming a free agent from the English club. In its official statement, Cagliari highlighted the player's profile: a sound technical base, tactical intelligence and the ability to operate as a deep-lying playmaker or, when needed, as a box-to-box midfielder. The rossoblù thus add an experienced name to their midfield for the new campaign.
