SSC Napoli have officially confirmed the departure of Jesper Lindstrom to VfL Wolfsburg. The Danish midfielder joins the German club on a season-long loan with an option to buy.
Wolfsburg announced the agreement on the evening of Tuesday 14 July, and Napoli communicated the completion of the operation the following day. Lindstrom, a Denmark international, thus returns to the Bundesliga after his spell at Eintracht Frankfurt.
"In bocca al lupo, Jesper!" — the Partenopei bade the 26-year-old farewell on their official channels, wishing him well as he embarks on a new chapter in Germany.
