Randal Kolo Muani is set to return to Juventus after the Turin club reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain to sign the French striker outright for €38m plus up to €12m in add-ons.
Sky Sport Italia and transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano reported on Saturday that the two clubs have settled on a permanent transfer, abandoning the loan structure that had been under discussion. Juventus will pay the guaranteed fee of €38m up front, with a further €12m available in bonuses, some of which are easier to activate than others.
Kolo Muani is expected in Turin on Sunday for his medical tests. If the examinations are completed quickly, he could travel with the Juventus squad for their pre-season tour later the same day.
The 27-year-old knows the club well, having spent part of 2025 on loan in Turin before Juventus' attempts to sign him permanently failed. He spent last season on loan at Tottenham Hotspur, where the move was not made permanent either, and has no future in Paris.
The deal ends a saga that dragged on for weeks, with the formula changing at the last minute. The original plan had been a paid loan worth €4m with an obligation to buy for €34m, triggered by qualification for a European competition, plus a further €10m in bonuses. Instead, Juventus and PSG agreed on an outright sale, with the striker signing a contract until June 2031 worth around €5m net per season.
The permanent switch gives Juventus head coach Spalletti a settled centre-forward option as the club prepares for the new campaign, ending months of uncertainty over the Frenchman's future.
