Kerim Alajbegovic has landed in Turin to complete his move to Juventus, arriving at Caselle airport on Saturday evening before heading straight to the J Medical centre for his medical.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina international, who turns 19 in September, touched down accompanied by Miralem Pjanic, the former Juventus midfielder and fellow Bosnian, and was greeted by a crowd of cameras as he made his way to begin the tests that should clear the way for a deal reported to be worth €33m plus €7m in bonuses. Sky Sport, however, put the structure of the agreement at €30m plus €5m in add-ons, with Bayer Leverkusen also entitled to 10% of any future sale.
Alajbegovic arrives in Turin with his stock high after a standout season on loan at RB Salzburg, where his performances pushed his market value sharply upwards. Leverkusen had previously agreed a fee with Chelsea, but the player hesitated when it became clear he would not be guaranteed regular minutes at Stamford Bridge.
