The Los Angeles Lakers have named the personal financial assistant app Albert as their official jersey patch partner, replacing Bibigo under new ownership.
The partnership was announced on Friday. The Albert logo will appear on the upper left chest of all four Lakers uniform designs.
Lakers owner Mark Walter, who also owns the Los Angeles Dodgers, bought a controlling stake in the team last year and has made numerous changes since. The decision to end the Bibigo partnership came in March. Bibigo had served as the Lakers' jersey patch partner since 2021, following a five-year deal with e-commerce company Wish.
