Forward Naz Hillmon turned in a flawless performance on Friday, July 17 in Toronto, leading the Atlanta Dream to a 111-92 win over the host Toronto Tempo. Hillmon finished with 24 points, going 8 for 8 from the field — including 4 of 4 from three-point range — and 4 for 4 at the free-throw line, missing nothing on a near-perfect offensive night.
Her effort anchored a Dream team that improved to 15-10 while controlling the contest for long stretches. Angel Reese added 23 points and 12 rebounds, Jordin Canada posted a double-double with 18 points and 13 assists, and Allisha Gray also scored 18.
For the expansion Tempo (10-15), Marina Mabrey paced all scorers with 26 points, but it was not enough to prevent the home loss.
