Indiana Fever rout the Las Vegas Aces 109-75

The Indiana Fever closed their four-game road trip in style, crushing the Las Vegas Aces 109-75 on Sunday night at Michelob ULTRA Arena.

Kelsey Mitchell paced the visitors with 27 points and became the fifth player in WNBA history to score at least 25 points in six consecutive games, joining A'ja Wilson, Tina Charles, Arike Ogunbowale and Maya Moore. Aliyah Boston posted a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds, while Sophie Cunningham scored 20 and matched her season high with six three-pointers.

Caitlin Clark, on a minutes restriction as she works back from a lingering back issue, finished with 12 points, seven rebounds and six assists. For the Aces, Wilson had 20 points and 12 rebounds and Chelsea Gray added 15. Las Vegas (17-7), which had beaten Phoenix 106-58 on Saturday, slipped into a second-place tie with Golden State, half a game behind WNBA-leading Minnesota.

Indiana shot 59% from the field (22 of 37), hit 7 of 13 from long range and went a perfect 8 of 8 at the line, taking a 59-48 lead at the break. The Fever never trailed and led by as many as 34 points. The 35-point margin stands as the second-largest victory in franchise history, and the win lifted Indiana to 14-9 on the season while closing the trip at 3-1.

Mitchell also extended her streak to 39 straight games in double figures, the second-longest run of its kind in team history.
