Fenerbahce have officially announced the signing of Mason Greenwood from Marseille. The 24-year-old English forward has put pen to paper on a four-year contract with the Turkish club, bringing an end to his two-year spell in Ligue 1.
The deal was confirmed by the Yellow Canaries on their official channels and is worth €39 million plus bonuses, payable to Marseille in three equal annual instalments. Greenwood joined French football from Manchester United in July 2024 in a move worth up to €31.6m.
Manchester United stand to profit from the sale, having negotiated a sell-on clause when they parted with the player: reports indicate the Red Devils will receive a significant share of the fee, around 40 per cent of the transfer (part of which is owed to Getafe for the 2023-24 loan).
