Liverpool have officially signed Napoli goalkeeping coach Alejandro Rosalen to work with manager Andoni Iraola at Anfield, as reported by [Football Italia](https://football-italia.net/liverpool-goalkeeping-coach-rosalen-napoli/). The 49-year-old Spaniard replaces Xavi Valero in the Reds' coaching staff.
Rosalen left Napoli following the arrival of new coach Max Allegri, who brought in his own backroom staff to replace outgoing Antonio Conte. The goalkeeping coach began his career in the Valencia academy and also spent one season in Hungary with Videoton.
His long Serie A career started in 2013 at Fiorentina, where he stayed until 2021 working under Vincenzo Montella, Paulo Sousa, Stefano Pioli, Giuseppe Iachini and Cesare Prandelli. He then moved to Napoli from 2021 until last month, winning two Serie A titles under Luciano Spalletti and Conte, also working with Walter Mazzarri, Rudi Garcia and Francesco Calzona.
