Rafael Leao, excluded from Milan's project, is reconsidering his stance on a potential move to Turkey. According to Sportitalia, the Portugal international has recognised his limited options and is now opening up to Galatasaray and Fenerbahce, but only with sufficiently high wages.
The Portuguese international had announced in several interviews before the World Cup that he considered his time at San Siro to be over, ready for a new challenge. Milan too are eager to sell, having no intention of renewing his lucrative contract that expires in June 2028.
The problem is that the only clubs who stepped forward with real proposals have been Galatasaray and Fenerbahce, destinations that did not initially excite Leao. He was hoping for a Premier League move, though Manchester United and Aston Villa have been relatively disinterested.
